"Lots of festivals are set ‘down on the farm’ but this one, with its pleasantly pastoral setting and emphasis on free roaming, really feels like it."
"Veteran Grammy winner Albert Lee, Grammy-nominated mandolin player Sierra Hull and current Americana star Justin Townes Earle are all due to play, while woodland walks and an adventure playground will keep younger ones amused.”
Ida Wenøe’s signature style pairs ethereal vocals with delicately finger-picked guitar, conjuring to mind the magic and darkness of classic fables and fairy tales.
Latest release “Lyla” is a blend of Wenøe’s native Danish noir, and the influences of traditional British folk. Threads of loneliness run through her yearning vocal, lamenting over and over “I miss you now / Like I missed you then”. There’s something chilling about Wenøe’s work, suggesting the intriguing singer-songwriter knows things you don’t, and perhaps never will.

The Goat Roper Rodeo Band are proud to announce the impending release of their second album 'Cosmic Country Blue', due to be released on Friday 7th October 2016 via Aveline Records.
With just two old guitars, an upright bass and a bucket full of rich, aching harmony, the Welsh trio preach foot-stomping country blues like you’ve never heard before. There’s a hint of Hank, a twist of Waylon and a little sprinkling of Gram in there too... it’s up and down, soft and loud and it swings that big ol’ country snake. Just three young bucks doing their own thing ... the only way they know how.
Their video 'Old Heartache' premiered over at Folk Radio UK. Click this link to watch the video in full!
The Goat Roper Rodeo Band will also be playing a very special release show on Friday 7th October 2016 at The Green Note in Camden, which features a guest performance from Michele Stodart of The Magic Numbers!
